Hello, everyone! A few days ago I did a quick question and answer session we’re calling Ask Nanners. I’ll try and do them on a semi-regular basis. Below are the answers to my most recent session, so be sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter so you can catch me on the next one.
(Some questions have been modified for clarity)
How many cats can you bench press? – Faez D
AM: Let’s say an average cat is about 10lbs… I’d say 10 to 15 cats.
What is the best food in your opinion and why is it the best? What is the best place you have ever visited and why? – Julie M
AM: Best food in my opinion – I’d probably say pizza. You can put anything on it. It’s carbs, meats, cheese, vegetables – it’s pretty much cheating. It’s my go to food. Favorite place? I really liked Tokyo. The culture, it’s just really great.
How soon is Banana Jesus going to start recruiting disciples? – Bill D
AM: Not really sure how organized religion works – BRB working on it!
If you had to date Chilled, Tebjz or Goldy, which would it be? – Ciro M
AM: Goldy — he will supply our relationship with Chipotle.
Given your obvious comedy chops with the videos and Paranormal Activity Squad, any thoughts on doing other such projects as PAS in that vein? – Aaron W
AM: For sure, but a new project! This time around, 100% banana participation in regards to creative and production.
I’m quite curious what your taste of music is like. Which band or artist do you find the most influential in your life? – Piotr M
AM: I’m a fan of most genres because there is artistic merit and value in every style. I like to mix it up!
What’s the craziest fan experience you’ve ever had? – Matthew H
AM: The people that watch me aren’t crazy. Everyone thinks gamers are weird, but they’re pretty chill. I’ve never had a weird experience.
Would you own a banana shaped cat? – Michael H
AM: I think that’s possible – it’s called kitty costumes! I’ll make it happen.
What is your favorite wine? – Jacob F
AM: At the moment, I don’t have one. I haven’t been drinking wine much lately, but it’s usually reds. Fully bodied. Reds, reds, reds – never whites. Lol.
Would you rather burn alive or drown? – Jonathan G
AM: Oh man. I’d rather drown. Burning alive sounds horrible.
Will you have Twitch stream schedule? – Lana V
AM: Right now I’m feeling it out. Ideally, I’d like to have a schedule, though. I’m seeing how to make the whole thing work. Time wise I’m trying to see how all the pieces fit, but once everything is factored in, like YouTube and streaming, I’ll release a schedule.
Have you got more things in the pipeline with Sark and Hutch? – Sam L
AM: Nothing as of yet. I have a ton of great things planned, but Sark and Hutch ruined it… Totally telling the truth here.
What is your favorite film of all time? And a favorite game of 2016? – Ignas V
AM: I don’t think I have a favorite film, again it’s like music. As for the game – probably H1Z1. Actually, yeah, it is H1Z1.
How hard is it to start up a YouTube channel and continuously put up quality content? – James W
AM: Extremely difficult! More than you know. What I’d say is research – do a ton of research. The mistake people make is they don’t do their research, and they think it’s about making a good video, but it’s more than that. I mean it is that, but there’s more to it. Research is important – data doesn’t lie but feelings and opinions sometimes do.
Is it all just one shirt or several different shirts that look exactly alike? – Andrew S
AM: Several different shirts that all look alike – I am a creature of habit.
Have you ever kissed Sark? Or had any sexual moments with him or Hutch? Was a banana involved? – Michael T
AM: Yes… no comment 😛
Are you and Cathy, planning any new business ventures? – Will T
AM: Not at the moment. We have enough on our plates. As it stands it’s just production and Craftly.
What is your favorite pastime once you’re done making and editing videos? – Luis N
AM: My brain went “food”! But probably chilling out. When you entertain for a living – you’re ‘on’ all the time, so anything that lets you relax for a while gives you balance in your life.
What’s the weirdest game you have ever played? – Stephen D
AM: I’ve played some weird games. The last one I played is called Commercium. It’s hard to explain. Not so much a game but an experience.
What is your favorite Garry’s Mod game? – Ian W
AM: Prop Hunt for sure. Hide and seek has always been fun. Trouble in Terrorist Town is one of the big ones too. But probably TTT and Prop Hunt. The majority of my sneakiness came from TTT, but I guess Prop Hunt too.
Do you have a tattoo? If not would you get one? – Kris L
AM: No tattoos yet, but I would absolutely like to get one. The only thing that stops me is time and procrastination.
