With an art style and soundtrack ripped straight out of the 1930s, Cuphead is easily one of the best looking platformers ever released. Just a quick warning – you may want to pick up a second controller as this is a pretty unforgiving game, so there’s a pretty good chance you’ll break at least one.

Halo 5: Guardians

The launch of Halo 5 didn’t have quite the same impact as previous titles, but developer 343 Industries are still actively supporting the game with updates and patches. Plus, there’s actually a pretty loyal following built-up around the game, so finding matches online is pretty easy.

Tough, but fair. But still really tough. Bloodborne is basically Dark Souls, but with a few minor adjustments that make it feel ever so slightly different. For $20 you’re getting a huge game that will either help you become a better gamer, or destroy your will to live.

Mad Max

Failing to capitalize on the massive success of Mad Max: Fury Road, the Mad Max game never really took off like it should have. It’s got its flaws, but at this price, it’s an absolute steal.
